She sang to me

On the way to the bathroom at lunch (actually breakfast) at Olive Garden today, she said, "Happy birthday Mom." Then she sang a few of the lines and kind of trailed off as I smiled down at her, telling her how happy she makes me. She always says things that melt my heart, but that was definitely one of the tops!

She played well with her cousins today and even ended up going home with them for a sleepover. Last night, she had a sleepover with Katie. She did end up in our room before the night was over. I think Katie said Summer went to bed at 12:00. I know she came to our room after that. She and I traded out the bed and the closet all night. I even slept in the closet floor for a few hours while she was in my bed. There was just not enough room in there for us all last night. Anyways, she slept until almost 10:00 this morning which has to be some kind of record for her.

I am missing her right now, but going to eat dinner soon. Can't wait to see what kind of joy life will bring tomorrow. I know one thing, Summer will be part of it!!!
